Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer have left an indelible mark on tennis history, with many considering them the greatest players of all time. Adding to this debate is Novak Djokovic, who continues to dominate the sport and chase more titles. Opinions are divided when determining who truly ranks as number one among the three, but Andre Agassi leaves no room for doubt.

The 54-year-old American, himself one of the all-time greats, was unequivocal in his choice. While enjoying the Australian Open, Andre Agassi spoke with The Australian and declared that Djokovic surpasses both the Spaniard and the Swiss.

“There are so many ways to look at it, but when you look at it on paper, you just can’t argue with what he’s accomplished,“ said the Las Vegas native. He continued: “The amount that he’s won, the head-to-heads, the Masters (titles), the year-end number ones, the weeks at number one… all those stats.”

The worst athlete is the nervous athlete.

According to Novak Djokovic, this is very simple, but very sound, reasoning. He heard the viewpoint from a Serbian sportscaster whose father is a retired professional boxer. It would seem someone like Djokovic would be impervious to such thoughts. After all, he’s had arguably the most decorated career in men’s tennis history.

But even one of the game’s greatest big match players still gets anxious, even expressing himself in volatile ways.

“I don’t think it’s wrong if you experience those emotions,” he says. “I think it’s part of you, part of the competition, part of because you care about it. It’s difficult to always stay flat. I think what is important is how you bounce back. Always bring yourself back to that optimal state where you are focused on the next move, or the next point or the next moment.”

Bouncing back is what Djokovic plans on doing in 2025.

Dr Sajjad, who is listed at Churchtown Medical Centre in Southport, claims on his Instagram page that he is “doctor for the champ” Fury and also lists Benn among his clients.

The GP was working with Benn when the boxer tested positive in 2022 and said in a podcast interview the same year that he believed “80 to 90 per cent” of elite boxers could be using drugs. Benn has since been cleared to compete again after the National Anti-Doping Panel cleared him of any wrongdoing over his two positive drugs tests in 2022.

Looking back on one of the most absurd and controversial moments in boxing history, Mike Tyson’s former trainer has explained the real reason behind why ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ took a chunk out of his opponent’s ear.

Originally billed as ‘The Sound and the Fury’, but later dubbed ‘The Bite Fight’, WBA World Heavyweight Champion Evander Holyfield faced off against legendary Mike Tyson in a rematch of their November 1996 bout. In the first fight, Holyfield, despite holding the title, was seen by many as the underdog after failing to impress in his fights following his return from retirement in 1995.

Surprisingly to many, Holyfield controlled the fight, dropping Tyson in the sixth round and getting him up against the ropes in the 10th and 11th respectively, the latter resulting in the fight being stopped by referee Mitch Halpern, gifting the champion an unexpected victory.

The first fight didn’t go without controversy, though, with Tyson complaining about receiving headbutts in the sixth and seventh rounds, both of which were judged as accidental.

Daniel Dubois has escalated his war of words with Oleksandr Usyk, insisting that the Ukrainian was “lucky” in their first fight and would be beaten in a potential rematch later this year.

However, Usyk’s camp has responded by insisting the Brit won’t even beat Joseph Parker when he makes the first defence of his world heavyweight title next month.

Dubois claimed the IBF title when he beat Anthony Joshua in September and has since called for an undisputed showdown with Usyk, who holds the WBO, WBA and WBC belts.

The pair first met in a controversial fight in Poland in 2023 when Dubois floored the Ukrainian with a body shot in the fifth round, which the referee ruled a low blow and subsequently gave him additional time to recover.
